A small London studio, building websites that earn their keep
Verosite is a web design and digital marketing studio based on the Isle of Dogs in east London. We build custom websites for small and medium businesses across the UK, and we run the SEO and Google Ads that bring people to them.
We are deliberately small. You work directly with the people designing and building your site — there is no account manager relaying messages, and no handover to a team you have never spoken to. That is the whole reason the business exists in this shape.
How we charge, and why
Every studio needs a deposit — web projects have long lead times and people do occasionally vanish mid-build. We are not going to pretend otherwise. What we do think is unreasonable is the 30% to 50% most agencies ask for, followed by a twelve-month tie-in that guarantees their revenue whether or not the work is going well.
So ours is 20% to start, 40% at the midpoint and 40% on launch, against a fixed, itemised quote you approve before anything begins. The bulk of what you pay is tied to work you have already seen. Ongoing support afterwards is month to month, and you can end it with 30 days' notice without a conversation about penalties. Your website, its code, your domain and your analytics are all yours from day one.
The practical effect is that we have to keep being worth paying for. We think that is the right incentive to be under.
What we actually do
Four things, all under one roof, so nobody can blame anybody else when something is not working:
Custom website design
Bespoke sites built on Next.js and deployed to Vercel — fast, properly structured for search, and designed around your business rather than a template.
SEO, including local
Technical audits, Google Business Profile and local signals, and content that targets what your customers actually type. Reported monthly on enquiries, not rankings.
Google Ads management
Campaign setup, proper conversion tracking, and weekly search-term work. Your ad budget goes to Google, never marked up, and the account stays in your name.
Branding and identity
Logo, palette, typography and guidelines — designed alongside the website so the brand works at 40 pixels tall, not just on a business card.

Where we are
We are based at Indescon Square on the Isle of Dogs, in the London borough of Tower Hamlets. Most of our clients are in London, and we are happy to meet in person when it genuinely helps — a discovery session or a photography plan usually goes faster across a table.
The rest works perfectly well over calls and email, which is why we also work with businesses across the UK who never visit an office.
